The Eisemann Center is pleased to invite artists to submit their work for consideration to be featured in our upcoming gallery exhibitions. Artists living or working in North Texas are especially encouraged to apply.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to:
• Exhibit their work in a professionally managed gallery space
• Gain exposure to a broad and diverse audience
• Be featured in Eisemann Center marketing and promotional materials
The Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery is dedicated to showcasing the best of local and regional artists on the second level of the lobby of the Eisemann Center. With over 4,000 square feet of exhibition and reception space, there is room for everyone. Exhibits typically change monthly and promise a wealth of visual delight for patrons of all ages.
The first Friday of every month, we celebrate the artists on display in the Green Mezzanine Gallery with our First Fridays reception. We invite the artists and all interested members of the community to join us for light bites on the second floor of the lobby from 6 PM to 8 PM.
To be considered for exhibition, a proposal must be submitted to the Gallery Committee. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Submissions for upcoming months are being accepted now. Click the button below for more information on submitting your proposal.
For the month of February, we welcome RISD Students to the Green Mezzanine Gallery!
The Richardson ISD Visual Arts Department offers all RISD students PK-12 the unique opportunity to create and submit a piece of art to be showcased in the Green Mezzanine Gallery each year. Myron Stennett, Director of Visual Arts for RISD, developed this showcase to boost the enthusiasm and motivation of students interested in making art and push them to create refined works.
Through challenging curricular art activities aligned with the standards of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Fine Arts and the school’s art curriculum, students are provided a venue to showcase their skills as well as their understanding of process and creative development which supports the goals and skill level of all students.
A "First Fridays" reception has been scheduled for Friday, February 6. Join us for light bites and meet some artists from 6-8 PM on the second floor of the Eisemann Center lobby.
The gallery is free to view and open to the public every Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and during all public events.
Please forward and share this newsletter to anyone interested in the arts.
