Join us for a look at the fascinating life and public service of Dwight H. Perkins, the progressive designer responsible for over 40 Chicago Public Schools.

CITY OF NEIGHBORHOODS SUMMER PROGRAM

Dates: Wednesday, July 6 - Friday, July 15, 9:00am - 4:00pm

This multi-week program (formerly known as the Neighborhood Teen Ambassadors) engages students ages 14-17 in place-based research as they dive into the history of a Chicago neighborhood, practicing public speaking and storytelling. Students work directly with community leaders, residents and neighborhood stakeholders while earning a stipend.

TEEN FELLOWS

NOW RECRUITING CAC TEEN FELLOWS

Teen Fellows question and identify how the built environment impacts their lives. This 15-month program is offered at no cost to Chicago high school students. Fellows will explore architecture and design careers, collect college credits, earn a stipend and work alongside industry professionals with the possibility to participate in a paid summer internship at a local architecture or design firm.
