We were very sad to hear of the passing of Cornelia Oberlander. The pioneering landscape architect lived to the amazing age of 99 and had a long and award-winning career in which she was still consulting on projects such as her current AGA exhibition, Genius Loci. Her passion for fostering a deeper alignment with the natural environment and creating greener cities can be seen in some of her notable work including Ottawa's National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian Embassy in Berlin, Vancouver's Robson Square, Montreal's Expo 67. Our condolences to her family and friends.
Starting in June we are presenting a summer series of talks about gardens and landscapes as part of the public programming for Cornelia Hahn Oberlander: Genius Loci. Presented by the Poole Centre of Design.
