Behind the music - our next careers morning

Careers Mornings for Key Stage 3 and 4
Wednesday 11 November 2026 & Friday 5 March 2027

Bring your questions and get stuck in! Our Careers Morning give students the chance to chat to the people who make the music happen and hear what it’s really like to build a career in the arts, from the graft it takes to the rewards that come with it.

They’ll head behind the scenes at The Glasshouse, discovering the many different people, skills and careers it takes to bring our stages to life.

Music Spark Schools – new for 2026/27

Looking for a creative opportunity for young people aged 14+ with special educational needs?

Music Spark Schools is a relaxed, supportive weekly group combining singing, instruments, music technology and songwriting. It’s a space to experiment, build musical skills, make friends and grow in confidence through making music together.

Sessions take place at The Glasshouse on Fridays during term time, with school staff providing transport and pastoral support.

School visits – build your own adventure

Bring learning to life with a trip to The Glasshouse.

From hands-on music workshops and behind-the-scenes tours to sitting in on a Royal Northern Sinfonia rehearsal, we'll work with you to shape a visit around your group's age, interests, curriculum goals and timetable.

Whether it’s a short session or a full-day musical adventure, build a visit that works for your class.
