Did you know?

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Alonzo King LINES Ballet members are superstars in the field of dance.

Within the combined ensembles, seven artists are current or former members of Dance Magazine’s annual lists of “25 to Watch.” Four dancers have received top honors and awards from the Princess Grace Foundation.

Meredith Webster, pictured at right in Alonzo King's AZIMUTH with Hubbard Street and LINES Ballet, is a 2007 Princess Grace Award winner. LINES Ballet asked Meredith what inspires her. Here's her answer:

"Patience. Focus. Humility. Thunderstorms. Attention to detail. Diligence. Simplicity. Music. Light and shadow. Abandon."
