Hey there,

We're in the middle of our Mercury Prize Fringe events here at The Glasshouse, and what a week it's been so far!

We kicked off with Tim's Listening Party featuring Lanterns on the Lake - a night of conversation with the Tyneside band whilst listening to their Mercury Prize-nominated album Spook the Herd

Then we saw Ernie headline Sage Two as part of our BBC Introducing from The Glasshouse Generator X Mercury Fringe special, including amazing performances from Nadedja and Isabel Maria.

We are also pleased to announce our Jazz North X The Glasshouse Artist Development Day taking place on Wednesday 19 November 2025. Featuring sessions on creative practice, radio, touring, and sustainable music careers - with opportunities to network, collaborate, and create music together. Book a free ticket to secure your place!

Just a reminder that our next two BAPAM clinics are taking place on Friday 17 October and Friday 14 November. If you have a performance related health problem, book a free appointment and chat to Dr. Fairfax - a BAPAM and NHS GP with a special interest in performers’ health.

Every month we share the latest opportunities, resources and events in this newsletter, check out our handpicked list below. Make sure you check the deadlines as some are fast approaching.

Stay creative and take care,

The Glasshouse Artist Development Team
