Michelle B. Noah

"By the Numbers : An Enneagram Series "

Exhibit extended until January 24, 2021

Happy New Year from the Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery! While our world had turned upside down in March 2020, Michelle B. Noah was working away, in her downtown art studio, creating, "By the Numbers: An Enneagram Series".

Wanting to better understand the enneagram language that her children and friends were so fluent in, Michelle took a deep dive, into the enneagram language. Educating herself through personal study, institutional coursework, and reflection on the relationships with her family members, Michelle was able to recreate each enneagram and their corresponding wings, into beautiful works of art.

If you have been a long time Brushstrokes subscriber, you might remember Michelle's work from one of our 2019 monthly exhibits. The "Michelle Noah Touch" is something you cannot forget. Bright colors, carefully layered and arranged in a way, making each piece pop in their own, unique way. If enneagrams and bright colors might be "too much" for you, Michelle has also included a few landscape pieces throughout the exhibit as well.

This special exhibit has been extended through January, and we are encouraging you to stop in and reflect on the unique characteristics of each piece, before it is taken down on January 24, 2021.

If you do not know what enneagram you are, we have provided a few resources below where you can find out more about enneagrams, prior to your exhibit.

Enjoy "Coffee with the Creator", hosted by our own, Assistant Marketing and Development Manager, Roni Carrasco, as she tours "By the Numbers: An Enneagram Series," with artist, Michelle B. Noah.
