Earth Day

The Museum of Ancient Life is adding some serious solar power as Thanksgiving Point is now partnering with Legend Solar. This new agreement will help Thanksgiving Point reduce its global footprint and create a better museum for guests, now and in the future. 

Earth Day is this Saturday, April 22. We're doing a special unveiling of the new sign for the Museum of Ancient Life in the Legend Solar building and want you to join in the Earth Day fun! Following the official announcement at 10am will be games, activities, and prizes for all. Come play and learn with several educational, Earth Day-related, booths like UV Beads, Wind Tubes, and Sun Print Paper. Come help celebrate the Earth and this amazing new partnership for Thanksgiving Point! See you Saturday.

Tulip Festival Races: April 29

Half Marathon

Registration is still open for the Tulip Festival races on April 29! There's a half marathon that will run inside the Ashton Gardens with a view of nearly 300,000 tulips. If the half marathon isn't your thing there is also a 5K and Kids race. All racers will take home a medal and race shirt. 

Get registered for one of these fun and challenging races. There is no day-of registration so don't delay!

Tulip Festival

The 13th annual Tulip Festival is in full swing from now until May 6 at the Ashton Gardens. This year almost 300,000 tulip bulbs were planted in more than a hundred varieties. Each year the tulips are replanted so that no two Festivals are ever the same. Also be sure to check out several of our new "Tulip Beats". 

For you photographers out there, use the hashtag #tuliparty on your social media postings to be entered into our photo contest. Winners receive Thanksgiving Point memberships and more!
