Dia de los Muertos

Day of the Dead at Thanksgiving Point

October 20, 2016

Join us for the Latin American holiday Dia de los Muertos at Thanksgiving Point's Show Barn on October 29! Legend has it that on Dia de los Muertos, the dead join us as a part of our community, awakened from their eternal sleep to share celebrations with loved ones. Members of the community are invited to build an altar inviting a loved one to enjoy the fragrance of marigolds and delicious pan de Muerto (bread of the dead). A community altar will be available at the event to write notes or share mementos in celebration of souls no longer on Earth.

Advanced tickets are $8/adult and $10 the day of. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Thanksgiving Point members can use their membership for a 10% discount. To learn about all the benefits of Thanksgiving Point members, visit the membership tab on ThanksgivingPoint.org.
