Big events on the horizon!

Youth Ensemble Performs at Dance For Life; Next Generation benefit concert at Wheeling High School on Sunday March 4^th.

The show will begin at 5:00pm. General admission tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the High School on March 4^th before the show. The youth ensemble will be performing their newest work by Youth Dance Program Faculty Member, Jessica Miller Tomlinson.

Missed the Summer Preparatory Program audition? Join us for a placement class on April 29.

The Summer Preparatory Program for ages 9-13, is a perfect fit for young dancers who are looking for a rigorous program designed to jump start their pre-professional training. Dancers auditioning for this program should have training at the B/C level.

The Youth Dance Program Sleep-Under event is planned for March 23^rd from 6-10pm.

This event is for ages 5+, and will include pizza, dance contests, fun choreography, and a movie. Youth Program Dancers and their siblings are welcome to wear silly pjs and bring a pillow and blanket with them to this fun-filled evening at the studio. To take advantage of this exciting event, and opportunity for a kid free Friday night, REGISTER HERE and select this event out of our Spring Classes options.

SPRING BREAK will be from March 26^th-31^st.

There will be NO Youth Dance Program classes during break, and our Admin Office Hours will change to Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for that week.

Sarah Olson and Shannon Grayson are back this summer!

We are very excited to have two of our favorite faculty members back with us for Summer Camps this year.

Sarah Olson will be teaching the Preparatory Program and Sleeping Beauty camp and Shannon Grayson will be back to teach in the Preparatory Program and Hip-Hop!

Hubbard Street’s Spring Series, An Evening of Alejandro Cerrudo, is coming up March 23^rd and 24^th, at the Auditorium Theatre. Both performances begin at 7:30pm.

OVERVIEW:

This Spring marks Hubbard Street’s return to the Auditorium Theatre for the first time in 20 years. This special two-night engagement, dedicated to Hubbard Street’s beloved Resident Choreographer, Alejandro Cerrudo, will showcase a full evening of Cerrudo’s work following his career with Hubbard Street from some of his earliest pieces; Lickety-Split (2006) and Off Screen (2009), to the Chicago Premiere of Silent Ghost (2015), and a world premiere created specifically for this program.
