A much-loved annual event, supported by The Kavli Trust and in association with Sing Up, this year’s Big Sing takes on the theme of singing in support of health and wellbeing, brightening your moods and bringing happiness to your school day.

The Big Sing offers schools a great opportunity to learn new repertoire and expand pupils’ musical horizons in a fun and engaging way, culminating in an uplifting summer term performance in Sage One at Sage Gateshead.

The project includes: teacher training at Sage Gateshead in March, teaching resources, a workshop for your students in your school in Summer term, seats at a live participatory performance in Sage One at Sage Gateshead.

For Foundation and Key Stage 1

All aboard this musical journey of planes, trains and automobiles. We’ll travel to far off lands and around to grandma’s house, singing and dancing to repertoire perfect for your young learners. The Big Sing for Mini Singers offers schools a great opportunity to learn new repertoire and expand pupils’ musical horizons in a fun and engaging way, culminating in an uplifting summer term performance in Sage Two at Sage Gateshead.

The project includes: A teacher training session at Sage Gateshead in March, teaching resources, up to a 2 hour in-school singing workshop for your children in the Summer term and a live participatory performance in Sage Two at Sage Gateshead on a choice of either Thursday 27 or Friday 28 June.
