A message from Sarah Hairston

Welcome back to all our Academy students and families! I hope everyone had a fantastic summer! We are so excited to have everyone back in our studios and hallways.

As we embark upon this Academy year, I cannot help but boast a bit about the many exciting opportunities coming up for our students. Young Performers Cast rehearsals are already in full swing for Cincinnati Ballet's The Nutcracker as are rehearsals for Romeo and Juliet. You will also begin to hear a bit of buzz about the new Family Series production of Beauty and the Beast coming up in April 2018. This is our first mainstage performance exclusively featuring the Second Company and Academy students! I am beyond thrilled to have our students partake in this excellent production. More information will follow on this exciting opportunity.

I'm also thrilled to announce that last year's highly successful Academy Nutcracker & Holiday Party is becoming an annual tradition. The event returns on December 10th with multiple show offerings due to such high demand. Please mark your calendars for this festive event!

As you can see, we have a busy and eventful year ahead! We wish you all a fantastic season!

Academy Communication

We understand clear communication is key in providing an exceptional experience for our students and their families. In addition to occasional messages through Remind, the Academy will also communicate via email so it's imperative we have a frequently checked email on file. Academy families can also stay up to date by liking us on Facebook or referencing the Student Resources page on our website!

We’re excited to roll out the use of Remind during the 2017-2018 Academy Year! We thank you for your patience as we worked to get everything set up. At this point, if you haven’t yet received a text or email from Remind (or if you have questions about anything Remind-related) please send a quick note to cbacademy@cballet.org so we can help troubleshoot.
