Earlier this month, we launched an exciting new program that will connect youth leaders from coast to coast to coast. Ocean Bridge is part of the Government of Canada’s newly established Canada Service Corps, and Ocean Wise was selected as only one of 10 organizations across the country to pilot this service-focused project. We’ll be selecting 40 youth to participate, working with them for the next year to create ideas for ocean conservation service projects in both urban and wilderness settings.
Through weekly
virtual conversations, and two trips into the field – in Vancouver and Haida
Gwaii – we’re building a network of the next generation of ocean leaders.
