Dear ,

Did you know that Thomas Jefferson compiled his own version of the Bible? Jefferson put handpicked passages from the Bible in chronological order and named it "The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth."

Come see Bill Barker from Colonial Williamsburg portray Thomas Jefferson and discuss Jefferson's religious views and the reasons behind creating his own version of the Bible. Harry Rubenstein, Barbara Clark Smith, and Janice Stagnitto Ellis of the National American History Museum will begin the program with a presentation on the preservation of this national treasure.
