World of Speed Motorports Museum takes the health of its visitors, volunteers, and staff very seriously. We have been monitoring conditions and following the most up-to-date clinical guidance at clackamas.us/about-coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19. You can also stay on top of the facts by visiting the Oregon Health Authority’s COVID-19 FAQ page, which includes information on testing, as well as the Center for Disease Control COVID-19 webpage for the latest news and guidance for people at serious risk of illness. 

Recently the state announced measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, those measures included restrictions on large gatherings and non-essential school gatherings, plus recommendations for workplaces. Our museum is open, and our facilities team has already taken proactive measures to increase the safety of our visitors, including increasing its normal thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the museum.

We ask you all to join us in following the CDC’s recommendations of washing hands, covering coughs, and substituting elbow taps for handshakes to prevent illness and help keep our community safe.

Exhibit opening of Ferrari: Racing, Style, and Innovation – Open as scheduled

Saturday, March 21, 2020

At this point, we plan to move forward with our new exhibit opening, Ferrari: Racing, Style, and Innovation next Saturday. Our daily average attendance can vary but even if the number of tickets sold meet or exceed our past highest exhibit opening, we believe there will be enough staggered arrivals and space within our 50,000 square foot gallery to maintain recommended social distancing.

World of Speed Motorsports Museum is postponing the opening reception for the Ferrari: Racing, Style, and Innovation exhibit scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2020. Members will receive additional information on this event in the future.
