JOURNEY TO THE DARK SIDE OF THE PLANET:

EXPLORING THE EARTH’S DEEPEST OCEAN ENVIRONMENTS

Learn about the underwater adventures on Alvin, the U.S. science community’s deepest-diving & longest-serving research submersible. Guest speaker Bruce Strickrott is the Senior Pilot and Group Manager for Alvin. He has piloted more than 300 deep dives to the “dark side of the Earth” where life exists independent of light from the sun.

Join us this Thursday as we learn more about Bruce's adventures where very few have ever been!
