Deaf Arts School Holiday Program *** Ripple Effect *** Deadline Extended

Join the Deaf Arts Network School Holiday Program for 5 days of workshops for 10-13 and 14-17 year olds. Dance, drama, visual arts and more.

This fun-filled program will be lead by professional Deaf artists Anna Seymour, Jessica Moody, Alex Jones and Kirk O’Meara-Presley.

When: Monday 28 September – Friday 2 October 2015

Time: 10am – 4pm

Where: Shopfront, 88 Carlton Parade, Carlton, NSW

Cost: $50 per person

Sign Handel's Messiah *** Deaf Arts seeks participants for signing choir ***

Accessible Arts is working in partnership with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and together we will present three performances of Handel's Messiah at the Sydney Opera House in December 2015.

A signing choir of 10-12 volunteers from the Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing community will join the choral choir to perform the Handel's Messiah.

Call out - still a few spaces left!

We are seeking 10-12 choir and 4 soloists who are highly proficient voluntary signers from the Deaf or hard of hearing community.

Time: 6:15pm [30mins] followed by first rehearsal: 7pm - 10 pm
