To Starr King's Community Partners:

Starr King Parent-Child Workshop has been a guiding light in early childhood education in Santa Barbara for 67 years! Offering a hands-on, play-based learning experience for pre-school children, Starr King’s child-development professionals empower children’s extraordinary capabilities and provide parents with highly effective tools for positive guidance. All parents contribute directly to the school’s daily operations, keeping tuition costs low and attracting a diverse population of parents who are actively involved in their children’s early learning. Working and learning cooperatively prepares parents to be active participants in their children’s lives and communities.

The parent membership of Starr King Parent-Child Workshop plans and executes an annual rummage and bake sale as our school’s primary fundraiser. Our program does not receive federal or state assistance, making major fundraising campaigns our primary means of meeting our annual operating costs. This year’s event is a one-day sale occurring Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Earl Warren Showgrounds. We need your help to make the rummage and bake sale successful and raise much needed operating funds for the school!

We ask for your support with a donation of food, baked goods, or a gift certificate. End-of-day baked goods are gladly accepted. Starr King's volunteers will work with you to coordinate pickup of all items. All donations are greatly appreciated and are fully tax deductible. All profits go directly to Starr King Parent-Child Workshop’s working budget.

Last year's rummage and bake sale was attended by more than 1700 shoppers and food buyers. As a Starr King supporter, your business will receive logo recognition on our sponsor poster at the event, as well as mention on Starr King's Facebook page.
