A MESSAGE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The past six weeks have been filled with so many memorable moments, fabulous concerts, and a seemingly endless amount of beautiful music.  My first season as Bravo! Vail’s executive director was filled with joy, excitement, and a deep appreciation for the warmth and generosity of the people of the Vail Valley. It is an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to lead an organization that connects our community through the power of music and is meaningful to so many people.

As we wrap up the festival, I offer my sincere gratitude for the support for this community, and I look to the future with more excitement than ever for what lies ahead.

Bravo! Vail Artistic Director

What a season! I’m deeply honored to bring incredible artists and concert programs from all over the world to the Vail Valley, and want to express my heartfelt thanks to the dedicated community of artists, audiences, board, patrons, volunteers, and businesses who make Bravo! Vail possible. Every concert and artist is memorable, but people couldn’t stop talking about Stéphane Denève and The Philadelphia Orchestra’s performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, which was truly transformative, and the phenomenal pianist George Li. Believe it or not, we’re already hard at work planning next season, when we’ll present Bravo! Vail’s first-ever fully staged opera production, and the North American debut of the Chamber Orchestra Vienna – Berlin with the great violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter in her Bravo! debut. On behalf of the entire Bravo! Vail family, thank you for being part of this musical adventure, which truly is like no other.

In 2019, Bravo! Vail is thrilled to present one of the most popular operas in the repertoire with The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin on July 11 & 13.
