As the year ends, non-profits in every community are ramping up their fundraising efforts. It is a crowded field when it comes to fundraising, and getting your message into the hands of potential donors is the key to success.
Here are 3 impactful marketing tips for your future campaigns:
- Illustrate, in words and images, the direct impact that your organization plays in your community. Show how you make your community a better place for everyone.
- Let donors know what specific gift amounts will provide. For example, $50 will provide meals for 25 children a day. If they can envision it, they will know their money is making a direct impact.
- Your print and digital fundraising messages should direct potential donors to your website so that they can learn more about you. Don’t be too wordy-short and concise wins in a society that is already time deprived, but willing to give.
