Welcome to your SSN newsletter for December 2019

Dear SSN Members,

In light of our current call for papers for the next Subject Specialist Networks Conference on the topic ‘Museum collections on prescription – Political rhetoric, civic responsibility or engagement opportunity’, this newsletter is dedicated to the theme of culture, health and wellbeing.

We look forward to reading your proposals and hearing about a range of collections-focussed wellbeing programmes from regional and national organisations and their partners, about the research and evidence underpinning this work, and about ideas, opportunities and challenges arising from it.

We hope to see and work with many of you again in 2020. With all good wishes for a very happy Christmas and New Year,

Subject Specialist Network European Paintings pre-1900
