After over a decade, here is your chance to sing-along with the renowned Colorado Symphony Chorus for Handel’s glorious masterpiece and truly be a part of the holiday spirit. The warm sounds of the holidays fill Boettcher Concert Hall in this annual Christmas spectacular. This season's celebration focuses on the music and magic of the season, showcasing the Colorado Symphony's annual collaboration with the Colorado Children's Chorale and the Colorado Symphony Chorus. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to see who's naughty and who's nice in preparation for the big night. Don't forget to arrive early for HalfNotes pre-concert activities in Gallery 2!

At just 10 years old, Jackie Evancho first appeared on “America’s Got Talent” in 2010 singing soprano pieces that won her second place overall in the contest. From there, she started performing around the world. Now at 15 years old, Evancho released her third standalone album called “Awakening”. For her performance with the Colorado Symphony, Evancho will perform some of the most memorable classics of the season as well as other unique pieces sure to make for a festive concert. Evancho has gained acclaim for her holiday concerts, including participating in the lighting of the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. in 2012, where she sang in-front of President Obama. Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the holiday classic, Home Alone, with your Colorado Symphony! The concert event features renowned composer John Williams' charming and delightful score performed live as the film is screened on large suspended screens. Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old boy who's accidentally left behind when his family leaves for Christmas vacation, and who must defend his home against two bungling thieves (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern).
