Fritjof Capra, Ph.D., physicist and systems theorist, is the author of The Tao of Physics,The Turning Point, Uncommon Wisdom, The Web of Life, The Hidden Connections, and other bestsellers. This special presentation at The Tech launches Capra’s latest book, published by Berrett-Koehler, Learning from Leonardo: Decoding the Notebooks of a Genius.

Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) was a brilliant artist, scientist, engineer, mathematician, architect, inventor, writer, and musician—the archetypal Renaissance man. But he was also, Capra argues, a profoundly modern man. By exploring the mind of the preeminent genius of his time—25 generations ago—we can gain profound insights into how best to confront the challenges of our times.
