Tomorrow, Carlos Kalmar returns to conduct an evening inspired by William Shakespeare, including Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Overture Fantasy, Dvořák's Othello Overture, Strauss' Macbeth and Wagner's Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde.
Then, we move indoors to the Harris Theater for the weekend, when the Grant Park Chorus joins the orchestra and guest soloists for Haydn's Theresa Mass. Debussy's Nocturnes and Haydn's Overture from The Creation round out the evening.
There are no open rehearsals on Thursday and Friday. Pre-concert lectures during the weekend will take place one hour before the concert in the Harris Theater second floor donor lounge. The Harris Theater is located at 205 E. Randolph Street.
