Lucia di Lammermoor

Set on the gothic Scottish moors, a chilling murder is committed on Lucia's wedding night. In his director's notes, Brian Deedrick talks about Simone Osborne's highwire vocal acrobatics, including the scene where she competes with the solo flute, "anything you can play I can sing higher." Witness the tragedy unfold in one of the most famous mad scenes, with soprano Simone Osborne making her debut in the title role. April 18 (8 p.m.), April 21 & 23 (7:30 p.m.) at the Northern Alberta Jubilee.
