Academy Newsletter: March Issue

SPRING PRODUCTION

Mark your calendars! Spring Production tickets will go on sale Monday, March 11th.

But first, an information packet will be heading to your inboxes this week. For Children’s Division families, this will include a list of which classes will perform in each show. For all families, this will include an opportunity to sign up to volunteer during performances and rehearsals. It takes a village to care for and support our young dancers backstage, so we thank you in advance for your help!

Summer Programs

Summer Intensive

If Cincinnati Ballet's Summer Intensive is your summer program of choice, we encourage you to register ASAP. Sessions are filling fast. Don't miss this great opportunity to train with resident faculty and artistic staff as well as guest faculty from across the globe!

Youth Summer Intensive

Youth Summer Intensive is a condensed version of our nationally acclaimed Summer Intensive designed to serve young dancers ages 9 - 14. Youth Summer Intensive takes place June 17 - 28 and July 8 – 19. Registration is open!

Summer Bridge

The Summer Bridge Program aims to keep students in peak physical condition between summer and school year training. For Levels 3 and up, the program will run June 3-7, June 10-14, and August 12-16. Our NEW Level 1 Summer Bridge for students who will transition from CD3 to Main Division Level 1 in Fall 2019 will be held June 10-14. Registration will open in early March. We hope to see you there!

Kids Dance Camp

Cincinnati Ballet takes you on a tour of our favorite tales during Storybook Summer 2019. Over three week-long adventures, Kids Dance Camp will immerse young dancers ages 4-8 in the beloved worlds of The Sleeping Beauty (June 3-7), Alice in Wonderland (June 10-14), and Snow White (July 29-August 2). Registration is open now!

ArtsWave Campaign

You may know ArtsWave from their annual workplace giving campaigns and their role as a critical funder of the arts in our region. Did you also know they’re Cincinnati Ballet’s biggest funder?

We’re raffling off a basket full of Cincinnati Ballet goodies, including ticket vouchers and merchandise, and this is a great way to support this year’s ArtsWave campaign. Tickets are $5 for one, $10 for 3, and $25 for 10, and are available at the front desk. We’ll draw a winner on Friday, March 8. You’re also welcome to make small credit card donations to this year’s campaign by visiting the Ballet Center front desk.
