Dear ,

History has many fascinating stories to tell us: of the mysteries of ancient Egypt, the glories of Roman imperial life, and the regional upheavals caused by seafaring raiders. Our upcoming archaeology programs offer many intriguing ways to enjoy some time-traveling excursions—and great stories.

Featured Event: We can now look a pharaoh in the face. New imaging technology has offered some amazing insights into of the lives of ancient Egyptians when it was applied to the royal mummies in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Not only are scientists learning more about the age, cause of death, and medical conditions of pharaohs and queens, 3D imagining even allows experts to render detailed and lifelike representations of ancient royalty.

Sahar Saleem, a radiology professor at Cairo University, highlights what was discovered during the examination of these royal mummies of the Eighteenth to Twentieth Dynasties, including some surprising results about the genealogy and family relationships among these ancient rulers, as well as some unexpected medical finds.
