Join Director Ron Daniels and the company of Othello for a FREE Open Rehearsal
this Sunday, February 14th! 

Sunday, Feburary 14th at Sidney Harman Hall, Guests will be seated in the theatre at approximately
1:20 p.m. and again at approximately 2:40 p.m. as the cast of Othello prepares for their upcoming performances.


 Guests will only be allowed entrance at these times, as actors will be taking breaks. We recommend 
arriving early and taking seats promptly when the breaks begin.
 No reservations required.

Internationally acclaimed director Ron Daniels joins STC to helm Othello, Shakespeare's tale of jealousy, duplicity, and destruction. Watch as Othello slips from a world of order to a world of chaos in Daniels' production of Shakespeare’s haunting tragedy.

Director Ron Daniels brings his sure hand with Shakespeare to Washington, D.C., having previously served as the associate artistic director of the American Repertory Theater and as artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s The Other Place Theatre. He is an honorary associate director at the RSC.  


Othello features Faran Tahir, making his STC debut, in the titular role. Faran is known for such memorable films as Charlie Wilson's War, Iron Man, and J.J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek; he has also performed over 75 television roles, including performances in 24, Warehouse 13, and the currently running Supergirl.
