R Alexander Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden will host two October events! Join us on either date for a tour of their exquisite sculpture garden, gallery, and an artist talk with current exhibitioner, sculptor, and fellow Art Partner member Gregory Johnson.

October 15 and 16 – Member Previews for the exhibition Thomas Struth: Nature & Politics.

November 10 – Artist Discussion and Tour of the Artmore Hotel.

November 13 –  We invite you to join us on a personal walking tour of two of Atlanta's hottest projects: the Atlanta BeltLine and Ponce City Market! This two-hour tour with staff from Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. will ensure you're up-to-date on the largest temporary public art exhibition in the south! Our guide will also share history of the area and give a sneak peek into future projects. 

December 3 – Artist Demonstrations and Exploration of Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance. The SEFAA Center is a vibrant, creative, and comprehensive fiber arts center that engages the public, inspires and supports artists, and teaches and displays all aspects of the fiber arts. Join us as we explore felting, weaving, spinning, and a variety of other art forms. Participants will even have the opportunity to try their own hand at creating these unique art forms. In advance of our December event, Art Partners members are welcome to participate in the SEFAA Clothroads Trunk Show (October 29 and 30) and their 2016 Fiber Art Sale and Silent Auction (November 5 and 6). Margaret and Terry Stent Distinguished Lecture in American Art: John singer sargent: a personal view

Friday, October 14 | 7–8 p.m. | tickets required

Richard Ormond, grand-nephew of John Singer Sargent and co-author of the John Singer Sargent catalogue raisonné, has studied Sargent for fifty years. Former director of London's National Maritime Museum, Ormond will offer his observations on the work of this prolific, brilliant, and many-sided painter.
