One Enchanted Evening: A Concert with Renee Fleming
One Enchanted Evening
2020 brings a whole new year of creative, exciting, and glamorous events to Montalvo, and the biggest one is coming up in exactly one month on Sunday, February 9 from 5:30-10pmOne Enchanted Evening will be the experience of a lifetime! 
As one of our glamorous guests, you'll enjoy a champagne reception, a special concert in the Carriage House Theatre with internationally renowned opera star Renée Fleming, a gourmet dinner by Le Papillon with Ridge wine pairings and a full bar, an auction featuring exclusive packages, and an evening of live music and dancing.
Fleming's performance will include songs from La Bohème and Otello, selections by Franz Liszt, and modern classics from The Visit, Nine, and Carousel.
This is an incredible opportunity to see one of the greatest vocalists of our time and experience a truly spectacular night that you'll never forget — all while supporting Montalvo's crucial mission of bringing arts to our community. Tickets are $1,000 per person, of which $600 is tax-deductible. Don't miss it!

NPR's Selected Shorts
Award-Winning Performers for Selected Shorts
The complete lineup is now set for our the live tapings of Selected Shorts on Saturday, February 29 at 3pm and 7:30pm with the addition of Kirsten Vangsness!
Vangsness is an award-winning actress, writer, and audience favorite who is best known for her role as FBI analyst Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds. She joins host Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle) and actor David Strathairn (Good Night and Good Luck, Lincoln) in this truly unforgettable night of storytelling. 
Featuring readings of stories by well-known and emerging writers, Selected Shorts is one of NPR's biggest hits, broadcast on over 130 stations to about 300,000 listeners. The theme of the stories for the Montalvo shows is "Unexpected Encounters," and both performances will be recorded for possible airing on upcoming episodes of the radio show. Tickets are selling quickly, so reserve your seats today!
