Fairy Tale 5K

Get your running shoes laced and your best fairy tale costume and come run the one-and-only Fairy Tale 5K at the Ashton Gardens on June 24 following the Fairy Tale Festival. The race begins at 8pm. The Fairy Tale 5K is just one piece of the Fairy Tale Festival, but is a separate admission fee.


Utah Symphony Returns

Symphony

The Utah Symphony returns to Thanksgiving Point's Waterfall Amphitheater on June 28. Doors open at 6:30pm and the performance begins at 8:30pm. Following the concert is a fireworks show at the waterfall!

Founded in 1940, the Utah Symphony is one of America’s major symphony orchestras, known internationally for its distinctive performances and recording legacy. Today, the orchestra’s 85 full-time professional musicians perform over 175 concerts each season.

GENTRI is the special guest performer this year and is comprised of three highly trained tenors. Their music can be described as “Cinematic Pop,” with lush, epic orchestrations and rich three-part harmonies. This will be their first performance with the Utah Symphony. 

Reserved tickets are sold-out, but general seating is still available. New in 2017 is a picnic option for guests. Visit ThanksgivingPoint.org for details and information.

June 24 will be the most magical day of the summer during the annual Fairy Tale Festival inside the Ashton Gardens. Wear your best fairy tale costume and come join in on the magical fun! 

The Fairy Tale Festival is FREE for Thanksgiving Point members as it is included with Ashton Gardens' admissions. To learn more about all the free events members receive, visit the membership benefits page.

Please note that the Museum of Natural Curiosity will close at 5pm TONIGHT due to a private event. The Museum will resume its normal business hours of 10am-8pm on Friday. 


Garden Mocktails

Enjoy a classy night at the gardens accompanied with hors d’oeuvres and the best company. Circle the garden and don’t forget to create your own mocktail at another of our popular NightLife events. Nightlife is designed for adults 18 years and older.

Children's Market

The Children's Entrepreneur Market is this Saturday, June 17th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Thanksgiving Point Water Tower Plaza. This is a market entirely run by kids! Guest are invited to visit and shop for items while they're supporting young entrepreneurs.

Be the Best You

The Be the Best You camp returns to Thanksgiving Point July 10-15! This annual camp is a life-changing program designed to build self esteem in teen girls. All young women between the ages of 12-18 are invited to attend this one-of-a-kind camp from the Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation.
