In a small Kansas town still reeling from a devastating tornado, a student squares off with his Manhattan school teacher over a casual comment. Even as they attempt to resist a firestorm about religion and science in the classroom, the debate challenges their very identities. With deft characterization and precise dialog, playwright Catherine Trieschman explores how Truth may depend on where you are standing when you view it.
