2020 Gala: One Enchanted Evening
Five reasons to attend our winter gala...
If you're still wondering whether or not to get tickets to our stunning winter gala, One Enchanted Evening, on Sunday, February 9, here are just a few reasons you should take the plunge:
1) Paul Draper, the revered winemaker and founder of Ridge Vineyards. A legend in the industry, he has helped put California wines on the map and has consistently made some of the most highly-prized wines in the world.
2) Chef Scott Cooper of Le Papillon, who has carefully curated a gourmet menu for the evening, each perfectly paired with a selection of Ridge wines.
3) Friendly Trustees who will be hosting tables for guests that are new to Montalvo, so you will have a smooth introduction to the Montalvo family and a chance to make some new connections.
4) One-of-a-kind auction items. You’ll have a chance to bid on five exclusive packages including a trip to Aspen, a progressive dinner in the Saratoga Hills, an exclusive scotch tasting, dining at Kokkari Estiatorio, and a luxury golf trip to Scotland.
5) The magic of the Villa. Montalvo will be at its finest with elegant, candlelit dining rooms, a champagne wall, signature drinks, and dancing on the tented terrace...not to mention a truly special performance by the incomparable Renée Fleming. The elegant ambience will be breathtaking, and the evening's experience will be unforgettable.

Waipuna
Don't miss...Waipuna!
Hoping to warm up your spirits during these chilly Bay Area months? Look no further than the Hawaiian sounds of Waipuna, performing in our intimate, indoor Carriage House Theatre on Thursday, February 13 at 7:30pm
Waipuna is an exciting collaboration of three talented musicians: David Kamakahi, Kale Hannahs, and Matthew Sproat, each from celebrated Hawaiian musical families. Their distinctive “neo-traditionalist” sound – authentic roots with a contemporary energy and sensibility – is pure joy to listen to. At Montalvo, they will also be joined by hula performers from Kuhai Halau O Mehana Pa 'Olapa Kahiko.
This band is at the forefront of Hawaiian contemporary music, with seven Na Hōkū Awards to their name. If you're a fan of island music, you don't want to miss it!
