A friendly reminder In Studio will be closed for the holidays from Sunday, December 21, 2014 – Sunday, January 4, 2015. The last day of classes is Saturday, December 20, 2014 and Winter Term begins Monday, January 5, 2015. We look forward to seeing you back in class ready to work off that holiday cheer.

New class added

Beginning Tuesday January 6, 2015 we'll be adding an elementary ballet class from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Workshops

Try something new in the new year and sign up for a workshop. We'll be offering introduction to ballet, introduction to pointe, beginner jazz and Fletcher Fusion™ Pilates workshops all beginning in January.

Class Spotlight: DanceFit Cardio Barre with Live Accompaniment

Looking for a new class to try? DanceFit Cardio Barre with Live Accompaniment will get your heart rate up, work your whole body and keep you inspired with our talented accompanist Greg Harrison on the drums.

 What to expect?

  • Warm up with dynamic stretches and movements to increase your range of motion and circulation.
  • Easy to follow and fun cardio intervals will get your heart rate up.
  • Challenging barre exercises combining simple dance inspired movements and functional fitness exercises will give your legs and core a great workout.
  • Cool down with a flowing sequence of stretches to lengthen muscles and ease tension.

 Benefits

  • Cardiovascular intervals combined with strengthening exercises helps you fit in a well rounded workout in a short amount of time. You will get your heart pumping as well as increase strength.
  • Beat the winter blues. After a cardiovascular workout your body produces a large amount of endorphins that help lift your spirits. Consistent cardiovascular exercise will improve your mood and help ease anxiety and stress.
  • Keep burning fat even after the workout. Workouts that include high and low intervals are proven to burn more fat even hours after you have completed your workout.
  • Moving to live music is an experience like no other. Live music has such a positive impact on our energy and emotional state and will motivate to keep you going through this challenging workout.
