Parent Observation: Next Week!

During the week of November 14 - 20, 2016 we invite parents/guardians into the studio classroom to observe their student in class. This is a wonderful opportunity to step inside the studios to witness all of their hard work and progress so far this season!

We kindly ask that you limit the number of observers to 2 people per student to allow for comfortable seating for all who attend. *Note - Children's Division classes in Studio D have been emailed separately for observation plans. Please refer to your email.

November 7: CD1 4:00pm, CD2 4:45pm, CD1 5:30pm, CD2 6:15 pm will all be taught by Rosa Compostella

November 8: Level 2A 5:15pm will be taught by Rosa Compostella

November 12: Level 2C 11:30am will be taught by a substitute instructor TBD.

Lobby Event

November 10: Corporate Networking

This Thursday, Cincinnati Ballet is hosting an event in the Ballet Center's lobby. As such, both waiting space and parking will be limited. When appropriate, we encourage Main Division students be dropped off and picked up by way of the semi-circular drive in front of the building. We greatly appreciate your understanding and accommodation of these guests.

Audition Notice: Open Audition for Boys

Cincinnati Ballet is looking for talented young male performers to be a part of our production of King Arthur's Camelot. An open audition will be held at Cincinnati Ballet this coming Sunday November 13, 2016.

Ballet Shoe Donations

Have a gently used pair of ballet slippers at home? Instead of storing them, consider donating them to other students in need. One of our Academy students is collecting ballet slippers and tights to support the Princesses Ballet program at City Gospel Mission. This free program helps over 250 at-risk young ladies develop confidence through dance (we're big fans of that!). If you'd like to contribute, please rubber band or bag pairs of ballet slippers (no pointe shoes please) and place them in the collection bin in the lobby. Gently used ballet tights (no holes please) are also welcome.

Save the Date - December 20

On Tuesday December 20, the Otto M. Budig Academy will present A Journey into the Land of Sweets at the Cincinnati Ballet center. We invite you to join us as our advanced level students will perform excerpts from The Nutcracker. There will also be activities, crafts, food and drink - a festive celebration! More details to come, please stay tuned!

First Class Free

This October through December, the Academy invites new students ages 2 to 8 to try their first class free. If they enroll within a week of their free class, we’ll waive their registration fee. Contact us to schedule your free class today!
