In conjunction with the exhibition Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors, the High will present two screenings (on November 15 and December 13) of short films capturing several of the artist’s iconic 1960s performances, as well as more recent short films of Kusama singing, performing, and reciting poems. The film program provides insight into the pivotal role performance has played in Kusama’s practice throughout her career.
