Summer Acting Workshop

Get Ready—Summer Acting Workshop Starts July 16!

Summer Acting Workshop gets underway in a few short weeks—it’s a theatre camp run by our Conservatory for Grades 3-12. The workshop helps build confidence and self-esteem—and it’s a lot of fun! Next month, let your kids (or grandkids!) experience what Parenting OC Magazine calls the “Best Theatre Classes” in the county.

Seussical

Plan Now to See Seussical

Yertle the Turtle. Sam I Am. Horton. The Cat in the Hat. These are some of the characters from more than 20 Dr. Seuss books who come to life in the hit musical, Seussical (Aug. 11-19, Summer Players). More than 30 young student-actors, chosen by audition for this Summer Players* show, are heading into rehearsals soon. It’s a great show for the whole family!

*The Summer Players is an ensemble of talented young actors who audition for roles in the annual summer production after at least one full year in SCR’s Theatre Conservatory. Many of the cast members got their start by sampling acting classes during Summer Acting Workshop.
