Wordfest presents
Jeannette Walls on June 25
One of the bestselling memoirists of all time, Jeannette Walls presents her latest stunning and heartbreaking novel, The Silver Star, at 7pm on June 25, 2013, at the John Dutton Theatre, Calgary Public Library, 616 Macleod Trail SE. The evening will feature an interview with host Shelley Youngblut in which Walls will also read from her novel. There will be an opportunity to purchase books by the author and have her worked signed after the event. Tickets are $15, and can be purchased online through the EPCOR Centre Box Office, or by calling 403 294 9494.

Wordfest welcomes new staff
WordFest is pleased to welcome Emmanuelle Fontaine as the new Education Program Assistant, Cassandra Paul as the new Operations Coordinator, and summer student interns Rachel Huber (Webmaster) and Inge Makins (Fund Development) who will work on a variety of projects leading up to the 18th Annual WordFest, which runs October 14-20, 2013.
