Academy families participating in Spring Production were sent an information packet via email last week with more details about Spring Production including Children's Division performance times, Main Division costume fitting schedule, ticket information and more! Spring Production tickets go on sale this Wednesday, March 15. All Academy families will receive an email the morning of March 15 that includes a link to purchase tickets. Questions? Keeping a finger on the pulse of the contemporary dance world, Bold Moves features Cincinnati Ballet like you’ve never seen before! Each performance features two exhilarating and diverse dances, boldly exploring innovation and defying traditional expectations of ballet. Bold Moves showcases groundbreaking artistic collaboration and cultural exchange with Israeli innovators including the famed choreographer Ohad Naharin and Cincinnati’s own Ariel Quartet.

Ballet Toybox, our annual performance specifically designed to introduce children to dance, returns with a new twist. This season’s program showcases Cincinnati Ballet Second Company in Swan Lake Jr., a retelling of the classic ballet, for kids! You’ll enjoy beautiful music and memorable characters like Prince Siegfried, the swans Odette and Odile, and the Four Little swans — all while introducing your kids to the beauty, humor and joy of dance. Come join us and support some of our Academy students who will be performing!

Wednesday, March 15: Petite Pas de Deux (Morse) will be taught by Kara Louis, Level 4A will be taught by Sam Jones, Level 6 and 7 will be combined for class with Dawn Kelly (Studio A).
Friday, March 17: Beginning Modern will be taught by a substitute instructor TBD.
Saturday, March 18: Intermediate Modern and Advanced Modern will be combined from 10:30-12:00 PM with a substitute instructor TBD, CD3 (2:30 PM) will be taught by Donna Anderle.
Sunday, March 19: Level 3B will be taught by Sarah Hairston, Level 4B will be taught by a substitute instructor TBD.
Kids Dance Camp registration is now open! This summer, Kids Dance Camp is heading out on week-long safaris to the jungle, the arctic and the ocean! Each week-long camp has two divisions. Division 1 is for ages 4-5 and Division 2 is for ages 6-8. Student placement based on age as of May 20, 2017.
Registration for Youth Summer Intensive, Pointe Workshop, and Summer Bridge will be opening soon! We will inform Academy families via email when the opportunity to register becomes available. In the meantime, we invite you to view the website for more details about these programs.
