HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I—They say a picture is worth a thousand words and the Honolulu Museum of Art agrees. That being said, this month's Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday: Picture This zooms in on the art of photography.

Local photographer Atis Puampai will be in attendance to teach keiki about different types of cameras. Raised in Pearl City, Puampai received his BA and MFA from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Guests can remember the fun-filled day for years to come by heading down to the Education Lecutre Hall and posing for a photo in the Photo Ops Hawaii photobooth. After snagging their photo, they can go back upstairs to create their own custom frame.

In addition to things to see, there will be things to hear. Local cellist Anna Callner will perform a combination of original and improvised compositions inside the Portrait Gallery.

See the full schedule.
