Hell-bent on revenge, Sweeney Todd takes up with his enterprising neighbor in a devilish plot to slice their way through London’s upper crust. Justice will be served — along with audacious humor, bloody good thrills and DeVotchKa’s lush brand of gypsy punk.
The Colorado Symphony performs Gustav Mahler's remarkable Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection," a five-movement symphony that takes listeners on a dark, solemn, and sublime journey that meditates on the themes of life, death, and rebirth. Mahler's Symphony No. 2 is the largest symphony ever made in terms of forces, length, and harmonic boldness yet is his most popular and successful work.

The Bard of Avon inspired some of the world’s greatest music for the stage and concert hall. Duain Wolfe leads the Colorado Symphony and Colorado Symphony Chorus in a musical exploration of Shakespeare’s most captivating lines and characters as portrayed in the music of Vaughan Williams, Verdi, Berlioz, and other composers who were caught up in the power of his “music of the spheres.”
The Colorado Symphony is thrilled to welcome Wonderbound to Boettcher Concert Hall for this one-of-a-kind performance. This program will feature excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake, with original choreography from Wonderbound’s own Garrett Ammon. This latest collaboration between two of Denver’s most avant garde and innovative ensembles showcases the diversity of symphonic music and modern dance.
