SFJAZZ SUMMER SESSIONS 2018 | VIEW CALENDAR
Groundbreaking composer and performer Zoë Keating creates a universe of music with just a cello, a laptop computer and her own boundless imagination. Marking her first performances at SFJAZZ since 2016, Keating will be performing music from her brand new EP Snowmelt, which is currently #6 on the Billboard Classical Albums chart. Physical copies of the new EP will be available at all the shows.
Experience Zoë Keating's meditative performance of "Sun Will Set" at the SFJAZZ Center in 2016, in anticipation of the groundbreaking cellist-composer's return to SFJAZZ for a four-night residency on August 9-12.
The groundbreaking cellist/composer shares her inspiring story on how she has re-found her voice musically following the passing of her husband three years ago.
“I use music as a way to make the world okay for me. I'm making this soundtrack of movement and hope and life that I want to live in.”
— Zoë Keating
