Weaving classical artistry with contemporary choreography and great music spanning nearly 300 years, our Spring Series is a multilayered exploration of dance today.

The company performs, for the first time, the “precision-crafted and multilayered” (The Observer) choreography of Crystal Pite;  Cloudless, a duet called “perfection in its unification of choreography, music and lighting” by Germany’s  Main Post; two polar opposites by Jirí Kylián: Sarabande and  Falling Angels; and a world premiere by Gustavo Ramírez Sansano inspired by Tchaikovsky and George Balanchine.

There’s an easy and exciting new
way to support Hubbard Street.

Please consider joining us today as a Marley Member, a new way to support Hubbard Street and our arts-education programs with regular monthly gifts, at levels to fit every budget:

  • Join at $10 per month and fund the construction of a dancer’s costume for a world premiere.
  • Join at $20 per month and license a piece of music for a new work.
  • Join at $50 per month and bring Hubbard Street 2 into a Chicago Public Schools classroom, to guide students through choreographing and performing their own dances.
  • Join at $100 per month to help us create and present a professional development workshop for an entire school’s teachers.
  • Join at $200 per month and bring hundreds of students to the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, for an interactive Hubbard Street performance especially for young audiences.

Hubbard Street would not be the company it is today without the donors who support our vision. This year, because of your support, Hubbard Street will:

  • Reach more than 5,000 students in 33 schools.
  • Assist 65 Parkinson’s patients and their caregivers, plus 95 children with disabilites, through our Adaptive Dance Programs.
  • Provide more than $30,000 in financial aid for Youth Dance Program students in need.
  • Give 500 families the opportunity to move together through Family Workshops.
