Galleria Arts & Culture Showcase

Explore visual and performing arts with the Galleria Arts & Culture Showcase, this Saturday, Sept. 26, as part of the Alberta Culture Days weekend! Soprano Whitney Sloan will perform at 12:50 p.m., followed by tenor Andrea Pinna at 2 p.m. in the Epcor Tower south parking lot, with additional representation from Citie Ballet, iHuman, University of Alberta and Alberta Aboriginal Arts. Admission is free (plus free parking in the Epcor Tower), but please bring an item for the Edmonton Food Bank. 

Around the world with opera

Celebrate the Edmonton arts community with us at Kingsway Mall this Sunday, Sept. 27, with free performances and dance workshops. Tenor Andrea Pinna will perform at noon, followed by an EO Chorus performance at 2 p.m.; at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. there will be dance workshops led by Dave Ganert, choreographer for The Merry Widow. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will also be arts & crafts, face painting and a photobooth.
