JULY 10 YEAR-END CELEBRATION

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at this Wednesday’s Summer Outdoor Concert at Strathmore, featuring the Daryl Davis band! Look for our sign and join us on the lawn of the Mansion as we celebrate the first year of the Strathmore Children's Chorus. Please arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. to ensure our being seated together. Families may bring a picnic, or purchase BBQ on site. If it rains, they’ll bring it inside to the Music Center. Full details about the summer outdoor concert series are available here.

CHORAL CLOSET

Moving into a different ensemble next year? Moving away? If you have concert attire you would like to donate or exchange, please contact Mary Twillman and let her know what you have to turn in, and what you may need. If you donate a garment and don’t take one in exchange, you will receive a receipt for your records. Include garment, size (specify if Adult size), condition (e.g., “hemmed 3 inches”). If you want to sell your attire, please use the Yahoo group to reach other SCC members. New members are being notified and joining throughout the summer, but you will reach more people as we get closer to September.

IS THERE A SCRAPBOOKER IN THE HOUSE?

We have started a basic scrapbook of the first year, but it could use an expert touch. Materials are all there (the basics anyway), along with photos and a few artifacts. If anyone enjoys scrapbooking and would like to lend a hand, please contact Mary Twillman.
