One half of the R&B/blues duo Fredericks Brown and daughter of blues legend Taj Mahal, singer Deva Mahal presents the record release celebration for her superb new solo project. Growing up in Hawaii and New Zealand, Mahal forged her own path as a creative artist, co-writing the song “Never Let You Go” on her father’s 2009 GRAMMY-nominated Maestro album, and has collaborated with a diverse group of artists including members of TV on the Radio, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Living Colour, and made her film debut in David O’Russell’s Oscar-nominated movie American Hustle.
