AN EMBARRASSMENT OF RICHES

Not sure which opera to see this season? All four of the operas – Eugene Onegin, I Puritani, Les Carmélites and Fortunio – each have their own distinctive selling points. If you want to have a flavour of which one might be right for your party, read Wasfi’s top tips. To book tickets day or night, go online. Or if you would like to have a chat about content, length, dining arrangements or where you should sit, have a word with our ever-helpful box office on 01962 737366. They can sort out (almost) anything.

PARTYTIME

MORTON'S PUSHES THE BOAT OUT FOR JOANNA LUMLEY

We have always loved Morton's, the private club in Berkeley Square. Now we really love it. This wonderful club – housed in what was once the private residence of the Chancellor of the Exchequer – hosted a dinner for Grange Park Opera to celebrate Joanna Lumley's appointment to our Board. It was a memorable evening that marked a landmark moment for us. Welcome Joanna!

PIMLICO IN PRISON

"I left with no dry part of my hankie remaining. It was another inspirational evening." Romeo and Juliet at the RSC? La Traviata at the ROH? No, those of you who came to HMP Erlestoke will know that this was a description of Pimlico Opera's production of West Side Story. Our 10-night run was one of our most successful yet and it is thanks to you. For more information www.pimlicoopera.co.uk
