Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 • JAN 24–26 • Boettcher Concert Hall
Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition winner Lukáš Vondrácek makes his Colorado Symphony debut with Rachmaninoff’s brilliant and challenging Third Piano Concerto. The piece is prefaced with two ballets by quintessential American composers: Aaron Copland’s Suite from Billy the Kid and Leonard Bernstein’s Facsimile, featuring dancers from the Colorado Ballet.
