Dear Folger Community and Friends:
Hanging in there? Most of us at the Folger are working from home, but we’re here to support you, answer your questions, and keep you updated about our programs and resources. Our COVID-19 webpage will always have the most current information.
Since our email update last Friday, we have decided to postpone or cancel all our programs through May 15, 2020. Our box office will reach out in the coming weeks to all ticket-holders with information about any performances that are postponed. Until then, you can email the box office at folgerboxoffice@folger.edu with any questions or concerns.
We remain committed to continuing our publications, resources, and services as best we can, and you’ll find us available on social media, by email, and even by phone when possible.
While we’re all practicing social distancing, here are some Folger resources you might find helpful:
Visit the Folger Shakespeare site to read the full, searchable text of Shakespeare's plays, along with scene summaries, essays, and textual notes.
We’ve got free teaching modules for you on our website. For even more online professional development and curriculum support, become a teacher member.
See our helpful list of online resources and submit your questions to our reference librarians.
Have you seen our Shakespeare for Kids section? Find activities, materials, and games for kids about Shakespeare, his plays, his life, and his times.
Check out our guide to streaming Shakespeare, listen to our Shakespeare Unlimited podcast and Spotify playlists, read our blogs, and download coloring pages from our collection.
Wherever you are today, please know that all of us at the Folger are thinking of you. We are grateful for your ongoing support. We hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
Michael Witmore
Director
