Sneak peek at Maria Stuarda
Meet the cast

The most important thing when casting Maria Stuarda is that the two queens vocally complement each other, and so we are thrilled to have Kathryn Lewek — fresh from her triumph at the Met as Queen of the Night — singing the role of Mary, Queen of Scots, with powerful, acclaimed soprano Keri Alkema portraying Elisabetta. Directed by Maria Lamont and conducted by Robert Dean, you can meet the rest of the cast here

Before the season starts, enjoy EO Chorus performances in the community. Join us at Southgate Centre for classic French arias and architectural landmarks built of Lego during Parisian Friday (noon, Sept. 4) and Symphony in the City (Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. in front of the Winspear Centre).
